All charter prices include

Collectingtransfers to and from the boat, full board accommodation, tea, coffee, water, diving, dive guide, accomodation in a double cabin, individual = 1/2 double cabin

Arrival and departure Hurghada airport

For all guests using Hurghada airport for a safari starting from Port Ghalib we ask for an extra transfer charge of Euro 25.
The transfers from Hurghada to Port Ghalib are collected transfers!
In case of longer waiting periods, guests are allowed to store their luggage in our office. Guests can also choose the use of a daily room or the pool for an extra charge.

Arrival and departure Marsa Alam airport

To cover longer waiting periods during check in and/or check out we recommend a daily room or pool use (extra charge applies). The Hotel Coral Beach is close to the Port Ghalib marina.

Check in and check out

On the arrival day check in time on the boat is 3 pm.
Check out from the boat is at 10 am on departure day.
We reserve the right to accommodate our guests on their last night in a hotel, due to organizationally or engineering reasons.

Extra charge for single cabin = 80%

Reduction for non divers = 10% (for special offers please ask for availability!)

St. Johns, North or South Safari 7 days: 40.- Euro p.P. visa and dive permission
Brothers 7 das: 80.- Euro p.P. visa and marine park fees
Marine Park North 7 days: 110.- Euro p.P. visa and marine park fees
Marine Park South 7 days: 110.- Euro p.P. visa and marine park fees
Marine Park 14 days: 135.- Euro p.P. visa and marine park fees

Please notive that non divers also have to pay the full amount for the marine park fees!

If the visa is not required, the price will be 15 Euro less!

Guides

Since 01.07.2001 every safari boat in the Red Sea must be accompanied by an experienced dive guide with a work permission. Therefore it is not permitted to charge a boat without a certified dive guide. Diving courses on board can only be undertaken by our dive guides due to insurance restrictions.

Marine Park

The marine parks include Brother Islands, Deadalus Reef, Rocky Island and Zabargad. Please note that night dives are forbidden in the marine parks by law.

Nitrox

Our boats M/Y Thunderbird and M/Y Firebird are equipped with Nitrox membrane systems. However, Nitrox is not a guaranteed service.
Rebreather diving and rebreather rental must be requested in writing at least 14 days prior to the safari otherwise we can not guarantee the availability of this service on board.

Service prices on board

Please check our website for the update prices for dive courses, Nitrox and other services we offer on board. The costs for these services should be settled cash (Euro) by the guests directly on board. Visa or Mastercard are also acceptable.

Necessary equipment and guest experience

All safari guests for South, North or St. Johns safaris must have at least a minimum of 30 logged dives.
For all Marine Park routes guests must have at least a minimum 50 logged dives.
Guests may be excluded from diving at the dive guide's discretion should they not fullfill the requirements or be considered experienced enough for specific areas (due to current, depth etc.). In such circumstances, a change in route or choice of a lesser dive site will be applicable for all.

The following equipment and documents should be with every guest upon arrival:

1. Valid certification card
2. Logbook
3. Medical statement not older than one year (legal requirement for egyptian law!!!)
4. Dive computer
5. Emergency buoy
6. Weightbelt (even if weights are integral in jacket)
7. One torch per buddy team at every day dive
8. 2 passport copies!!!
9. Diving accident insurance (you can arrange a decompression insurance on board for 7 Euro)

Spare parts and rental equipment

On board of our boats normally we do not have any rental equipment or spare parts. Every guest should bring his most important spare parts for his equipment like stripes for mask and fins.
With prior notice we can arrange for rental equipment, such as torches and computer. These items are not insured and in case of damage or loss the guest is completely liable.

Abstract from the law of environment:

1. Hunting, fishing, collecting of corals, shells and other marine life is strictly forbidden
2. Throwing of any waste into the sea (rubbish, oil, fat) is forbidden
3. It is generally forbidden to anchor in protected areas
4. Feeding fish and birds is forbidden
5. Using gloves for divers is only allowed for protection
6. It is forbidden to walk on the reefs and over corals

Any violation can lead to fines and/or prison sentences. Also, the authorities reserve the right to ban the respective captain and guide from their profession, as well as to confiscate the boat license for a certain period of time.

The maximum dive depth for diving with compressed air is 40 m! ((by sight of the corresponding brevet). For any technical diving the rules from CDWS obtain (Chamber of Diving and Watersports, www.cdws.travel/diving/redsea-rules-regulations.aspx).

Payment conditions

Upon booking, 10% of payment is required. Booking is only confirmed after the completion of the first payment. Final payment is due 4 weeks prior to the safari (access to account).

Cancellation fees

up to 57 days prior at a safari, 20% of total safari fees
56 to 29 days prior at a safari, 50% of total safari fees
28 to 15 days prior at a safari, 75% of total safari fees
14 to 0 days prior at a safari, 100% of total safari fees

Booking and name changes

A name change is possible up to 4 weeks before depature with a fee of 50 Euro. After this, cancellation charges will apply. Booking changes are possible up to 4 weeks before depature with a fee of 50 Euro. After this, cancellation charges will apply.

Minimum number of guests

The minimum number of guests per safari is 8. If this number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the safari 14 days before the start date of the trip.
